Hamas underlines continued resistance
Hamas movement has reaffirmed that a reconciliation process between the Palestinian movement and Fatah would not affect the trend of resistance against the Zionist regime or the efforts for the release of Palestinian captives.
The announcement was made by the Hamas leader, Mushir al-Masri who also expressed surprise at the suggestion that the reconciliation may undermine the Palestinian resistance, Sama reported.
Al-Masri said the Hamas movement invites the Palestinian population in the West Bank and the Quds (‘Jerusalem’) to join the process of resistance against Israel
The Hamas leader assured advocates resistance that the national reconciliation may never the anti-Israeli resistance.
“We would not sit rest assured as long as the captives are jailed and the Zionists have not left our land,” he said.
