Administrative detainees keep hunger strike for 10th day

Palestinian administrative detainees have continued their hunger strike for the tenth consecutive day Saturday protesting their detention without trial or charge.
The striking administrative detainees stressed, in a leaked letter, their determination to continue their strike till meeting all their demands, calling on the Palestinian people to support their hunger strike and their legitimate demands.
About 200 Palestinian administrative detainees started an open-ended hunger strike on April 24, demanding an end to their administrative detention.
Meanwhile, Palestinian detainees in Negev prison complain from poor detention conditions and deliberate medical neglect.
Palestinian Prisoner Society's lawyer has visited Negev prison, where he quoted the detainee Aladdin Darawi as saying that he needs to undergo an urgent gland surgery, in addition he suffers rheumatism, stomach problems. Darawi served eight years in Israeli jails out of his 12-year sentence.
