One more case of Israeli discrimination

Home buyers in Israel will have to show they have done military or civilian service in order to qualify for an exemption from the value-added tax, the Israeli Finance Ministry said on Sunday.
The criteria will apply to first-time buyers purchasing a new home costing up to $460,000, including VAT.
The service performance criteria would effectively exclude original Palestinians living in 'Israel' as well as ultra-Orthodox Jews who may not serve in the Israeli army.
