British union join Israel boycott move

The British Students Union has joined the global campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel.

The union Sunday agreed in a closing ceremony for its annual conference to join the campaign.

The union is the latest body in Britain to join the global move. Earlier in March, King’s College London Student Union voted to endorse the boycott, sanctions and divestment movement.

The 15-point motion passed Tuesday night at the students general meeting by a vote of 348-252.
