Israel seeking to absorb Jews from unsettled UE states

Several members of the Israeli parliament have called on the regime's government to use the critical situation in certain EU states to absorb Jews residing there to Israel.

Israeli media also talk of a government project for absorbing Jews from unsettled states, including Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Maariv has quoted some Israeli authorities as saying that the regime's ministry for absorption of immigrants has planned to absorb over 10 thousand Jews from France.

According to the daily, Berl Locker, Jewish Agency executive chairman has been assigned to carry out the project.

Also, Maer Habib, a French parliamentarian who is of Jewish origin has voiced readiness to help the Israeli government in the project.

The parliamentarian has urged Tel Aviv to expand job opportunities in Israel so that more Jews are persuaded to leave France for Israel
