Israel steps up threats of ground invasion

Israel has called up 40,000 reservists as it steps up threats of a ground invasion of the already besieged Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Ma'ariv has quoted 'informed sources' within the Zionist regime as saying that the attacks on Gaza would last at least for seven days.

Israeli tanks and armored personnel-carriers of the Zionist regime have massed at the borders of Gaza for the past week.

Nevertheless, Israeli military experts have warned about a ground invasion in light of the unknown aftermath of the push for the regime. They also say Israel may be taken off guard by the range of rockets fired into Israel after a possible ground invasion.
