Israel failed to prevent 3rd Intifada

A senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement says Israel has failed to prevent the breaking out of a third Palestinian Intifada, adding that the Palestinian resistance has made its mind to boost its military power to the levels of the Lebanese Hezbollah so that it could fend off the Israeli atrocities. 

Sheikh Abdullah Shami told Qudsna that the time was over when the Israeli atrocities remained unanswered, adding that the Palestinian resistance is going to respond to the killings of scores of Palestinians by Israel that came amid the holy fasting month of Ramadan. 

Touching on the explicit US support for the Zionist regime's atrocities and calling them 'legitimate defense,'  the senior Palestinian personality said the world of Islam must not remain idle by in light of its extensive military and economic capacities. 

Shami added however that even if the Palestinian nation is left alone, it would move to defend itself. 

Shami was then asked about this year's pro-justice ceremonies in the international day of Qods on the last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He urged all Muslims to do their best in the day to express their support for the Palestinian nation, adding that the initiative effectively prevented Israel from putting its Solomon Temple plan into action by destroying the al-Aqsa Mosdue. 

The Islamic Jihad leader warned that Tel Aviv and Washington seek to divert the Muslim public opinion from the Palestinian issue by marginal issues.
