Senior MP refers to Zionistsˈ raid on Gaza as genocide

Deputy Speaker of Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard on Sunday referred to the Zionist regime’s latest strikes on Gaza as genocide.

He made the remarks while addressing Majlis open session this morning.

Condemning the Zionist regime’s continuous crimes against unprotected civilians in Gaza, the official dubbed Gaza as the symbol of resistance against evil forces.

Under the pretext of protecting security, the Zionist regime is killing innocent women and children in Gaza Strip, Aboutorabi-Fard noted.

He added that the brutal strikes were an example of human rights violation.

Criticizing the West’s, particularly the US, support for the Zionist regime, the official said, US is an accomplice of the Zionist regime to slaughter the innocent women and children.

The Zionist regime has launched over 100 air strikes against civilian targets in Gaza in the past six days.

The death toll in Gaza has risen to at least 160 as several hundreds are wounded.

Most of the victims were among women and children.
