Egyptian initiative, a conspiracy

Egyptian professor of political science Abdullah Al-Ashaal warned that the Egyptian initiative for a ceasefire in Gaza, which was approved by the Arab foreign ministers, is aimed at eradicating and disarming the resistance completely.

In press remarks to Quds Press, Ashaal expressed his belief that the Egyptian regime wants the Palestinian resistance to leave Gaza and give up its armed struggle against the occupation.

"Israel is getting prepared nowadays for a ground battle against the Gaza Strip to exterminate the resistance, while the Arab foreign ministers seek to prevent this ground war in exchange for liquidating and dismantling the resistance in coordination with Israel," the Egyptian professor said.

"There are two choices before us, either ending the resistance by Israel or dismantling it by the Arabs on Israel's behalf," he added.
