Nasrallah affirms Hezbollah support to Palestinians

Hezbullah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah expressed solidarity on Monday with the Palestinian people, voicing support to Hamas.

In a phone call between Nasrallah and Hamas political bureau chief Khaled Meshaal, the Hezbullah chief stressed that the Lebanese resistance stands by the intifada of the Palestinians.

“We stand by the the intifada and the resistance of the Palestinian people and we share the same will, hopes and fate,” Nasrallah told Meshaal, according to a statement issued by Hezbullah's press office.

More than 500 people have been killed so far in Israeli violence on the Gaza Strip.

The latest Israeli aggression on the Gaza began on July 8, with Israel announcing on July 17 that it would undertake ground operations in the strip.
