Third Intifada has already emerged

Secretary General of the Ramallah-based Palestinian National Initiative, Mostafa al-Barghouthi believes that the present time Palestinian generation has become awakened and is joining the resistance forces.

"They are returning to the pure values of resistance," he told the al-Mayadeen TV.

Asked about his assessment of the battle in Gaza, the secretary general said the battle has already moved in favor of the Palestinian resistance, adding that a third Intifada (popular uprising) has already emerged across Palestine.

The Palestinian personality said this third intifada is different from the two previous ones as it is totally a popular movement.

Barghouthi said no one across Palestine is allowed to sit idle by as people in Gaza are massacred, adding that a genuine genocide was ongoing in Gaza.

The secretary general also touched on the massive demonstrations in the West Bank in solidarity with Gaza and called them exceptional in number and intensity.
