IR Leader's roadmap for Palestine

Qudsna, Ahmad Kazemzadeh:

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has drawn up a roadmap for the Palestinian issue in his recent speeches.

The Islamic Revolution Leader in a meeting with a large group of the Iranian students two weeks ago reaffirmed that the sole way to stop the unperceivable Israeli crimes in the Palestinian territories was to remove the entity through a democratic procedure.

Ayatollah Khamenei also renewed his previous argument that the fake entity must be removed before a ballot is held with all the original populations residing in the historical Palestine being allowed to vote to their desired government and system.

The Islamic Revolution Leader added however that until the democratic procedure is in place the faked entity must be countered through armed resistance.

In the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Israeli atrocities in the occupied Palestine were part of an iron fist policy that the illegitimate Israeli regime has stubbornly adopted in its 66-year age.

The Islamic Revolution Leader reaffirmed Imam Khomeini's call for the removal of Israel, adding that the call never means to remove the Jewish population from the region as the West peddles to be rather it is to carry out the logical and practical mechanism of election as the Islamic Republic has already put forward in international scenes.

Ayatollah Khamenei also rejected the idea that 'if rockets were not fired from Gaza, the Zionist regime would have treat Palestinians better,' noting that the regime has already adopted a similar humiliating and murderous policy in the West Bank where the only weapons of people is to throw rocks.

Ayatollah Khamenei cited the Israeli conduct towards the late Yasser Arafat and his eventual assassination by poison at the hand of the Israel agents, adding that Israel even does not tolerate the compromise-minded individuals in Palestine and that Israel would only climb down when it faces solid and decisive resistance.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the criminal Israel that has committed unperceivable crimes in Gaza is now seeking a truce in frustration after being countered by the Palestinian resistance. "It shows that Israel only understands the language of force," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

"The reality shows that the West Bank must also take up arms as Gaza has already done so that the Palestinian sufferings are contained," he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei said it was a task for all the world people, both Muslims and others to express their solidarity with the Gaza people, adding that God willing, the Iranian nation will display a magnificent presence in its anti-Israeli and anti-Zionst marches in the July 25 International Day of Quds.

Touching on the western position towards the Israeli crimes, Ayatollah Khamenei blasted the west, especially the US and Britain for defending the criminal regime of Israel and said the US argument that the Israeli child killing and other horrendous atrocities was a matter of self-defense was actually an absurd argument.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the western governments are actually losing their face in the world by defending the Zionist criminals, adding that the history will direly judge their conduct.

Ayatollah Khamenei added that the western defense of Israel stemmed from their liberalism in which moral values have no place and humanity is absent.

And in an Eid ul-Fitr speech in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei said the issue of Gaza rests on top of the affairs and concerns of the world of Islam and even the human community at present.

In the speech, Ayatollah Khamenei described the Zionist regime of Israel as a rabid dog and a ferocious wolf that has swept innocent people in Gaza.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the human community must give a due response to the vast Israeli atrocities, adding that the Zionist regime’s authorities were committing genocide in Gaza by putting the perpetrators and their backers on the dock at an international tribunal.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged the world’s concerned people to pursue the trial of the culprits of the Gaza carnage, adding that the regime’s criminal record in Gaza would not be rendered irrelevant with the passage of time.

In the same regard, Ayatollah Khamenei said those behind the atrocities against Gaza and their backers who openly support the criminals are subject to prosecution forever even if they would no longer hold any power at the time of trial.

In another regard, Ayatollah lauded the perseverance of the Gaza people and said one may consider the extent of human power and resistance in Gaza. The Islamic Revolution Leader elaborated that in Gaza a population living in a small and limited area that is put under siege from any sides could stand up to the incessant assaults of the Zionist regime.

Ayatollah Khamenei added that even at present, the invading enemy highly regrets its initial decision to attack Gaza and looks for an escape in frustration.

Ayatollah Khamenei then rejected the idea of the US-led western governments that Gaza must be disarmed, adding that the Gaza must be further armed. Ayatollah Khamenei said against the calls of the western authorities, the world, especially the Muslim countries are supposed to equip the Palestinian nation at their best.
