ISIL, Israel have common ground

Lebanese Foreign Minister, Gebran Basil has considered the Palestinian resistance as the key to the victory of the nation in the face of the Zionist regime of Israel.

The top Lebanese diplomat told a meeting of the Non-aligned Movement’s committee on Palestine in Tehran on Monday that if Palestinians keep their resistance, the Israeli state terrorism would be removed.

“If Gaza perseveres, the ground would be prepared for the formation of a viable Palestinian state with the holy al-Quds as its capital,” the minister said, adding that the Lebanese nation could meet its national aspirations through resistance against Israel.

The foreign minister then touched on the threat of the Takfiri current in the region and said no doubt, Israel and the anti-human current have a common ground.

The foreign minister then slammed the international community for inaction and double policy towards the regional crises, adding that the Israeli atrocities are taking place amid the reticence of the international bodies.
