WB arming idea was highly strategic
Hamas Spokesman, Moshir al-Masri says that the suggestion by the Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei that the West Bank must be armed like Gaza has been a highly strategic and sophisticated proposal.
Speaking to a large group of Iranian students two weeks ago, the Islamic Revolution Leader has reaffirmed that the sole way to stop the unperceivable Israeli crimes in the Palestinian territories was to remove the entity through a democratic procedure.
Ayatollah Khamenei also rejected the idea that 'if rockets were not fired from Gaza, the Zionist regime would have treat Palestinians better,' noting that the regime has already adopted a similar humiliating and murderous policy in the West Bank where the only weapons of people is to throw rocks.
The Hamas spokesman said an armed West Bank would emerge as a painful front for Israel, adding that a future battlefield against the Zionist regime would take form in the West Bank, God willing.
The Hamas spokesman then touched on a statement by the IRGC Quds Force Commander, Major General Qassem Soleimani to Hamas Military Commander, Mohammad Zaif and called it a major moral boost for the Palestinian resistance forces.
The Major General lauded the resistance forcesfor their campaign against Israel, adding that any disarmament of the Palestinian resistance is a mere hallucination on the part of the Zionist regime that will not be materialized.
Asked about how Hamas would push for resistance demands in the Cairo truce talks, Masri said the resistance has already come out as the winner of the war on Gaza, however it would pursue its demands in order to complete the triumph.
The spokesman added however that the Palestinian resistance groups are ready to enter a war of attrition with Israel until it surrenders to the demands. The Palestinian delegation among others has called for the cancellation of the siege on Gaza.
Asked about the Israeli call for the disarmament of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, Masri said the weapons issue is a red line for the resistance, adding that even if Israel itself is disarmed, the resistance will not abandon its weapons.
Masri said the resistance's rocket reserves have remained almost intact, adding that the Palestinian resistance can keep firing rockets at Israel several times the numbers it fired during the recent war.
