Israeli forces never wish to re-enter Gaza

Israeli Channel 10 has quoted a Zionist analyst as warning that the Israeli army harbors fear about a new incursion into Gaza in case the Cairo talks fail and the war is resumed.

Allen Ben David told the TV that the Tel Aviv authorities never wish to be having to return to a ground conflict in Gaza, and for the same reason, they threaten to resume aerial attacks if the Cairo talks fail and not ground invasion.

The analyst said the authorities were also in fear about a resumption of Palestinian rocket firing campaign against the Jewish settlements.

The analyst said the Israeli army needs a long time to remake its moral and organization before returning to the battlefield.
