Israel says ready toturn to Cairo talks

A spokesman of the Israeli foreign ministry has reportedly told the Turkish Anatolia news agency that the regime was ready to return to Cairo talks in case of an Egyptian invitation.

The news agency has also quoted the spokesman as conditioning any such return to a stop on the rocket firing campaign from Gaza.

The Cairo talks collapsed after Israel made a surprise attacks on Gaza killing three Hamas commanders amid a one-day truce.
