Netanyahu, Sisi develop cordial ties

Israeli media have released newer reports of growing cordial ties between the Zionist Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu and Egyptian President Abd Alfattah al-Sisi.

In a latest report, the Israeli Channel 10 said the two sides have enhanced their relations during the past few months.

The Channel 10 said Netanyahu has used to have lengthy phone calls with Sisi, adding that the Israeli prime minister has been delighted at the “strategic relations” formed between Israel and Egypt during the period.

The Channel 10 has also said the PA Head Mahmoud Abbas has tried to use the warm relations as a catalyst for presenting Egypt as the key player in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to Arab48 website.

Mahmoud Abbas said following his recent visit to Egypt that the Egyptian truce plan is the sole “viable” plan on the table.

He Palestinian Authority has recently sought to replace Saudi Arabia with Egypt as the conduit for its exchanges with Israel.

The developments have been in favor of the Egyptian government that was facing huge criticisms in the world of Islam for its inaction over the Israeli genocidal campaign ion Gaza.
