Israel could not force the resistance to surrender
Former Mossad chief, Shabtai Shavit has acknowledged that Israel could not materialize its military goals through military operation, adding that the Zionist regime must try to forge a long term truce with the Palestinian resistance.
The former spy chief said the Israeli army’s failure to reach its goals in the conflict against Hamas has brewed doubt about the effectiveness of military operation in Gaza, according to Quds Net.
The former Mossad chief told the Channel 10 that Hamas would not surrender due to the Israeli assassination of its commanders and leaders through drone attacks.
Shavit said the current war was a war of intellect and smartness and the winner would be the one that has a higher rate of vigilance.
