Spokesman of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine says the Zionist regime of Israel is blameworthy for any repercussions of a return to the military conflict in Gaza.

Davoud Shihab told Qudsna that the world was witness that while truce talks were ongoing in Cairo, the Zionist regime violated an interim truce agreement and resumed killing of children and women in Gaza.

The Palestinian spokesman added however that Israel sought to make a military gain through its new attacks on Gaza but to no avail.

The spokesman elaborated that the Israeli intelligence bodies failed once more as they thought they were targeting a location where al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades Commander, Mohammad Deif was residing but they were wrong.

The spokesman said the regime's lone gain was to kill more children and women in Gaza.
