IRI parliament speaker felicitates Palestinian nation

IRI Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said Palestinian resistance movements proved that they have the capability to liberate occupied lands.

Speaking in a public session of the parliament, he said that Zionist regime’s defeat by the Palestinian nation was the result of the resistance toward the Zionist regime and its western allies.

The speaker called for the immediate removal of Gaza blockade and realization of Palestinians' demands stipulated by the cease-fire agreement.

Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli officials on Tuesday reached a deal on a permanent cease-fire for the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The truce will rid the territory of its seven-year-old blockade.
