Netanyahu will be forced to resign

An Iranian expert in regional affairs says the Palestinian victory in making the Zionist regime to accept their truce demands after 51 days of battled would change the course of developments in the 66-year history of Palestine.

Hassan Hanizadeh also told Qudsna that the victory shows the Zionist regime was on the precipice.

The Iranian analyst said the Zionist regime despite having enjoyed an equipped army and the support of reactionary Arab regimes failed to have a minimum gain in the war while the Palestinian resistance backed by the Gaza people could place a balance of violence on the ground and gain a landmark victory.

The expert then touched on the damages Israel sustained due to the war that it imposed on Gaza, and quoting Maariv daily, he said all sectors of the Israeli industry were damaged seriously.

The exert predicted that the Israeli government would face major criticism from all Israeli parties to the extent that the regime's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu would have to step aside from power.

"An early election is likely in Israel," as an aftershock, he said, adding that the Palestinian victory was an outcome of the confidence and experience of the Palestinian movements as well as the convergence of the Palestinian people.
