Arab regimes have double stance towards Gaza

An Iranian expert in Middle East affairs says Arab regimes refuse to help the Palestinian resistance due to their alliance with the West however they offer help to Palestinians after a war is over so as to calm their domestic Muslim communities which have a strong bond with the Palestinian nation.

“Helping the Palestinian resistance is a red line” set by the US and the Zionist regime for the regimes, Hossein Rouyvaran told Qudsna.

The analyst noted that even the US government urges helping the Gaza rebuild because in a ravaged Gaza there would be have high motivations for continued war with Israel.

The analyst recalled the 2012 Israeli war on Gaza when the then Emir of Qatar donated a sum o 400 million dollars for the Gaza rebuild and at the same time assigned a delegation to prevent the Palestinian resistance from taking even a cent of the assistance.

“The case shows the Arab regimes seek to stand a point where neither they would cross the western red-lines nor confront their own people,” Rouyvaran said.
