Tehran event considers Gaza 51 defense
A celebrative event has been held in Tehran for the victory of the Palestinian people in Gaza. During the event that was held in Tehran's Shams hall under the banner of "Gaza, 51 days of resistance until eventual victory," two Palestinian personalities made speeches.
Hamas representative in Tehran, Khaled Qaddoumi said the victory of the Palestinian in the recent war on Gaza opened the way for the liberation of the entire historical pre-1948 Palestine.
Qaddoumi said the occupying regime of Israel has realized the reality that the way was opened for the liberation of Palestine following the recent war on Gaza.
The Hamas representative also ridiculed the US touted campaign against the ISIL terror group and called it a political humor. "The US under the color of a dove of peace claims to be defending the regional population while such claims were not in place during the war on Gaza in which over 2000 Palestinians were killed or during the Syrian crisis in which thousands of people were massacred," he said.
"Indeed terrorism is condemned however it must not be used as an excuse to deploy military forces in the region," Qaddoumi added.
The Hamas representative also noted that the victory of Gaza was actually a victory for the Islamic and Arab nations.
And, Palestinian Islamic Jihad representative in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif said Zionist regime's policies are part of a western project for sabotaging the Islamic culture of Palestine and the rest of the region.
The Palestinian figure said the west seeks to plunder the Muslim wealth so that Muslims remain dependent on the west for their preliminary needs.
Abu Sharif said the ISIL terror current was another part of the western conspiracy against Muslims.
In another regard, the personality said the Gaza people are ready to sacrifice their lives for the cause of resistance gainst Israel. Abu Sharif said the Zionist regime made many efforts to change the views of the Gaza people concerning the armed resistance but to no avail.
The personality said the Israeli community no longer has trust in its army. "The lack of trust is the largest threat facing the Zionist regime," he added.
