West seeks to demote model of Islam

A prominent Iranian advocate of anti-Israeli resistance says the western governments have embarked on islamophobia propaganda in a bid to prevent the model of Islamic lifestyle and government from being expanded worldwide.

Hojjatol-Islam Panahian was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of an international conference in Tehran on the role of the global Zionism in expanding terrorism worldwide.

Titled 'Ofogh No' (new horizon), the conference broached such topics as the similarities between Zionism and Nazism, the US and Zionist criminal records in the world, Hollywood and Israel lobby in the US, the role of Zionism in dividing Muslims and the emergence of the ISIL terror group.

Touching on the western Iranophobic schemes, Panahian said the western governments have got problems with an independent Iran that has hoisted the flag of free thinking and resistance in the world.

“They know the Islamic Republic will have the world people to learn to pursue their rights,” the Iranian personality said.

Asked about the root-causes of the ISIL terror group, Panahian said the Zionist regime had had a major role in creating and running terror groups in the region.

“Israel has served as a base for the world hegemons which stand behind the Takfiri groups,” he added, calling the groups by a title that specifies their dogmatic idea to reject any thoughts other than their own thoughts.
