High potential for 3rd intifada in WB

A prominent pro-Palestinian activist in Iran says the West Bank has a major potential for commencing a third intifada (uprising) against the Zionist regime of Israel.

Head of the Secretariat of the International Conference on Supporting the Palestinian Nation, Hossein Sheikholeslam was speaking to Qudsna.

The activist said a third intifada has already been launched in the West Bank and the occupied al-Quds.

The expert noted that the second intifada also started in the West Bank, adding that the area has the potential for a third intifada in light of the Zionist settlements and the presence of the occupying forces there.

The expert said resentment runs high in the West Bank against the Zionist forces due to their violent conduct.

Asked about an Iranian offer for giving arms to the West Bank population, the expert said the West Bank has the legal ground for incorporating arms under Geneva protocols.
