Zionists could not alter Quds identity

An Iranian political expert says an upsurge of Palestinian protests in the occupied West Bank was provoked by a series of new Israeli expansionist steps that are aimed at altering the identity of the occupied al-Quds city.

Mosayyeb Naimi told Qudsna that the Zionists perceive the emergence of the ISIL terror group is a chance for them to carry out their plans for altering the Palestinian identity however the Palestinian community has realized the conspiracy and countered it.

“Indeed, the Palestinian perseverance in the West Bank would prevent the Zionists from advancing their malicious goals,” the expert said, adding that the Zionists could not alter the identity of al-Quds and Palestine.
