Media must clarify WB arming offer

An Iranian deputy of parliament says an offer by the Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on giving arms to the Palestinian population in the occupied West Bank on self-defense grounds was more of a strategy than transfer of a few weapons.

Bijan Nobaveh made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna when visiting the news agency's pavilion in Iran's 20th Press Show in Tehran.

The deputy of parliament elaborated that the strategy underlines the notion that only armed would resistance help resolve the Palestinian issue.

Nobaveh said the media especially the Quds News Agency must clarify the issue for the public.
