Quds must be center of divine religions
An Iranian professor in international relations says the Iranian society has paid a key attention to the issue of Quds as the topmost issue of the world of Islam as well as any free men in the world.
Mehdi Motahharniya made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna when visiting the news agency's pavilion in Iran's 20th Press Show in Tehran.
The senior expert said the call for freedom of the al-Quds ('Jerusalem') by no means translates into anti-Semitism or obsession about a certain land or area rather it talks of a truth.
The professor elaborated that the occupied al-Quds serves as a point of departure for the three religions of Islam, Christianity and Judaism, adding that the freedom of Quds was totally a democratic objective.
The professor said the Israeli occupied city must turn into a center of divine religions worldwide.
Motahharniya appreciated the Quds News Agency for its specialized focus on the Palestinian issue and the al-Quds developments and said Qudsna was bearing a great role.
