Turkey supports Palestinian cause

Turkish Ambassador in Tehran, Reza Hakan Takin says his country condemns the Israeli aggressions against the occupied al-Quds in strong terms.

The senior diplomat told Qudsna in Tehran that the Israeli conduct against the holy al-Aqsa mosque was never acceptable.

The ambassador made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Iranian Foreign Ministry's compound.

"Turkey hopes that the international community would prevent such issues," he said.

The ambassador said that his country would support the Palestinian cause as a Turkish tradition.

He also expressed hope the Palestinian grievances would come to an end soon.

The ambassador said his country urges the settlement of the conflict through the most peaceful ways.
