West in double standard over Palestine

Malaysian Ambassador in Tehran, Raja Noor Shirvan Zeinolabedin says the Zionist regime must be pressured so that it would not adopt the perception that the world is indifferent towards its aggressions against the Palestinians.

The ambassador made the remarks in an interview with Qudsna on the sidelines of a meeting of Muslim information authorities in Tehran.

The senior diplomat said the Palestinians may face harsher conditions in the future with snap elections in sight and a new Israeli cabinet imminently in place.

Asked about the idea that Palestinians have already launched a new Intifada (uprising) by their recent protests, the senior diplomat said Malaysia would always support the decision of the Palestinian people.

In another regard, the ambassador said the western governments have adopted a double standard towards human rights as they refuse to stand against the Israeli violation of Palestinian human rights.
