Previous Israeli gov born with defects

An Iranian expert in international affairs says a snap election in Israel was expected as the outgoing Israeli government was born with defects.

Member of the Global Researches center Hossein Ajorlou was speaking to Qudsna.

The researcher elaborated that in the previous election, no Israeli party managed to garner the necessary votes for forming a government so that Benjamin Netanyahu who garnered a relative majority had to form a heterogeneous coalition government with Yesh Atid party that was doomed to fail.

The expert said the dissolution of the government was expedited by several factors including a series of security developments that took place in the Israeli parliament and led to the genocidal war on Gaza as well as a series of developments in the occupied al-Quds and the West Bank that failed Netanyahu’s vows.

The expert added that the Iranian issue too further pushed for the dissolution as Netanyahu had vowed to keep Iran’s case in a situation full of sanctions and military threats but to no avail as Iran could push aside the propaganda.

The expert said the Iranian issue made the Israeli allies in the US to arrive at the conclusion that radicals no longer could no longer be considered an appropriate player.

The expert cited the economic woes of Israel as another factor pushing Israel towards snap election. In the same regard, Ajorlou said the Israeli parties refused to continue cooperation with Netanyahu after they saw the prime minister is bent on fooling the public opinion by tying the economic problems with security issues. “The parties felt they would further lose their public votes if they keep their cooperation with the prime minister,” he added.

The expert predicted that Netanyahu could not garner the necessary votes in the next Israeli election as the Zionist community looks for an individual who could resolve their economic woes.
