The lawmaker added that the boundaries of the Palestinian land are precisely identified.
The lawmaker added however that the EU move is positive though insufficient. “The next move would be to let the Palestinian people to choose their government.”
Asafari: Referendum, sole solution to decide fate of Palestine
Secretary of the parliamentary commission of national security and foreign policy, Mohammad Hassan Asafari says no initiative would be practical for the Palestinian issue unless a healthy election is staged in Palestine to let the original population of the land to decide their own fate.
The lawmaker elaborated that a free election must be held in Palestine in which all original pre-1948 people are allowed to vote, including Muslims, Jews and Christians.
The lawmaker added that the EU move is actually aimed at undermining the resistance force.
