Palestinian issue, a concern for free men
Deputy Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah party, Naeem Qasem says every free man in the world must be concerned about the Palestinian issue.
The deputy Hezbollah chief was speaking to the Qods News Agency on the sidelines of the Muslim unity conference in Tehran that wrapped up work on Friday.
The pro-unity personality said all Muslim states are required to do their best in solidarity with the Palestinian issue, adding that scholars, intellectuals and politicians bear a larger responsibility in that regard.
The Lebanese personality warned that the entire Muslim community would be exposed if Muslims fail to do their part concerning the Palestinian issue.
Asked about the fate of Israel, Qasem said Israel enjoys no more regional power and would be doomed in God's favor "because it is tyrant and tyrants would never survive."
The Lebanese Alim said the Israeli occupation could not survive alongside the regional resistance, adding that the Israeli extinction is a matter of time.
Naeem Qasem appreciated the Islamic Republic for its support to freedom seeking movements worldwide, including in Palestine, adding Iran has served as engine of anti-Israeli resistance and has spared no assistance to that effect.
The 28th International Conference on Islamic Unity started in Tehran on Wednesday under the banner of ‘single Muslim community, challenges and solutions.’
The participant approved the idea that the Palestinian issue and the struggle against the Zionist regime was a key foreign policy for the Muslim community.
The scholars also underlined the idea that hostile states have played a key role in the emergence of the ISIL terror group and its negative effect on the Palestinian issue.
