Capitalists behind Palestinian crisis
Member of the Muslim fitwa council in the European Union says power circles are behind the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, adding that capitalists reap benefits from a deteriorating Palestinian issue.
Abd al-Rahman Mihrafi was speaking to the Qods News Agency on the sidelines of the Muslim unity conference in Tehran that wrapped up work on Friday.
The Hungarian personality said the power circles even control the US and Israel and mostly consist of Zionist-minded individuals.
"The circles would reap no money at peace while they could reap much at a state of war by selling weapons," the Muslim scholar said, adding the circles are also involved in any miseries and wars in all corners of the world.
Asked about the position of the Islamic Republic concerning the Palestinian issue, the Hungarian personality said "Iran presents Islam."
Mihrafi expressed delight at the reality that people from any religious affiliations may live in Iran. "Every European Muslim considers Iran as his or her own country," Mihrafi added.
Asked about the future of Israel, the Hungarian personality said the US government uses Israel as a tool for controlling the regional oil reserves and for the same reason Israel would perish once the era of oil is over.
The 28th International Conference on Islamic Unity started in Tehran on Wednesday under the banner of ‘single Muslim community, challenges and solutions.’
The participant approved the idea that the Palestinian issue and the struggle against the Zionist regime was a key foreign policy for the Muslim community.
The scholars also underlined the idea that hostile states have played a key role in the emergence of the ISIL terror group and its negative effect on the Palestinian issue.
