Israel long agitated over Iran talks
Spokeswoman of the IRI Foreign Ministry, Marzieh Afkham says the Zionist regime has tried every means at its hand to scuttle the process of Iranian nuclear talks with the P5+1 group.
Afkham made the remarks in her weekly presser on Wednesday in Tehran, answering a question by the Qods News Agency on the US Congress’ invitation to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak on Iran in an upcoming congressional session.
The spokeswoman added that the invitation was a domestic US issue.
Asked about Netanyahu’s recent anti-Iranian remarks, the senior diplomat said the Israeli official has long been agitated over the nuclear talks as they would ruin its negative propaganda against Iran.
Asked about a statement by the Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the western youths, the senior diplomat said the statement showed another side of the Iranian diplomacy, adding that the foreign ministry was pursuing to promote the statement as a top agenda.
