Iran’s revolution, beacon of regional movements

A senior pro-resistance activist in Iran says the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran lighted up a flame in the heart of the regional Muslim nations amid a political darkness.

Fatemeh Navvab Safavi was speaking to the Qods News Agency few days ahead of the 36th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Daughter of a renowned slain revolutionary figure, the pro-Palestinian activist argued that the Islamic Revolution of Iran imbued the regional nations with hope and motivated them to step up their anti-Israeli campaigns.

“The Islamic Revolution of Iran has kept its popularity among the world free people despite the widespread western adverse propaganda,” Navvab Safavi added.

In another regard, the prominent activist said Israel has become a center of anti-Muslim conspiracies in the region, adding that Israel has currently engaged in fabricating fake versions of Islam, including the ISIL terror group in a bid to undermine the original Muslim movements.

“They know the original Muslim currents would counter the tyrants. They seek to sideline the movements so that they could easily plunder the Muslim wealth,” the activist said.
