Islamic Revolution founded regional resistance

An Iranian expert in regional affairs says the late father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini launched his anti-Israeli campaign early in his political career by calling Zionism as the key enemy of Islam.

Hossein Kanani Moqaddam was speaking to the Qods News Agency a few days ahead of the 36^th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran.

The expert noted that the Islamic Revolution dismantled the US military base in Iran and sent rattles that shook the pillars of the international Zionism.

“The Islamic Revolution set the stage for the present anti-Israeli resistance and the Islamic awakening movement,” the expert said.
