Khaled Jaradat was speaking to the Qods News Agency few days ahead of the 36th anniversary of the landmark revolution that is largely identified with the widespread anti-Israeli campaigns in the region.
Jaradat recalled his days at university when he and his colleagues felt isolated amid a surge of un-Islamic political approaches towards the Palestinian issue.
“The Islamic Revolution changed the equations,” the Palestinian personality said, adding that the Palestinian Muslims felt the support of a millions-strong nation behind them following the victory of the revolution.
“The battlefield of resistance was extended from Palestine to Tehran” in 1979, he added.
