Iranian Revolution of Iran, role model of Palestinians

An Iranian expert in regional affairs says the Islamic revolution of Iran helped the Palestinian activists to realize that they have the ability to counter tyranny even with empty hands.

Ahmad Soroushnejad was speaking to the Qods News Agency days ahead of the 36th anniversary of the landmark revolution that got triumph on February 11, 1979.

“The Palestinian nation learned from the Islamic Revolution that they may accomplish nothing if they rely on the West while they could counter the criminal Zionist regiome through relying on their own potential,” the Iranian expert said.

An official with the Assembly of Pro-Palestinian NGOs in Iran, Soroushnejad said the Palestinians would never cherish the taste of freedom as long as they pin their hope in foreign groups or countries.

In another regard, the expert said the Islamic revolution presented the Palestinian groups with an unprecedented, effective model of resistance.
