The lawmaker said the Palestinian struggle against Israel was largely inspired by nationalism and socialism before the revolution however following the Iranian uprising, the nation adopted an Islamic approach to the combat under which blood prevails over sword and nation's resolve prevails over government's resolve.

The deputy of parliament said the doctrine has helped the world's freedom-seeking movements to endure an asymmetrical warfare with their adversaries.

"It also stopped Israeli advances in the Middle East," he added.

The lawmaker said the Islamic Revolutionary doctrine has helped turn the once small force of Hezbollah into a superpower that recently prompted Israel to appeal for truce following its heavy blow to Israeli forces in Shebaa Farms.
