1979 revolution was inspirational for other nations

A Palestinian legal consultant says the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979 made other world nations hopeful that they too could restore their freedom in the face of the global imperialism.
Anis Fozi Kassim was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the landmark revolution that is set to be marked on February 11.
The personality said the Iranian revolution inspired the Palestinians too and helped them to pick a new model of popular resistance and stand against the occupiers of their land.
The lawyer lauded the late father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini for their pro-Palestinian position and said the Imam had the world to beware against the threat of Zionism.
Kassim also urged Muslims to join their hands and strive for the liberation of the occupied al-Qods (‘Jerusalem’) from the claws of Israel.
