Iranians reassure support to Palestine

People in Tehran who staged a massive rally to remark the 36th anniversary of their Islamic Revolution underlined their support for the Palestinian nation.
The Qods News Agency interviewed several marchers with all calling for strong support to the innocent nation.
A 32-year-old university student in politics said the Islamic Revolution that got triumph in 1979 imbued the Palestinian nation with a new hope and gave a new identity to the Palestinian issue.
Mosa'-reza Yarahmadi also said the Zionist regime was kept at a bay as it once chanted the motto of Nile to Euphrates government and now has been confined inside a walled area and grapples with numerous crises.
His views were also reflected by 25-year-old university student in urban development, Mehdi Fotouhi who added that the word of Israel brings to mind the image of occupation, aggression, child killing and crimes.
Fotouhi said it was a source of pride for him to mark a revolution that seeks to remove the incarnate of tyranny in the world, Israel.
Elsewhere, an elderly marcher recalled the alliance of the ousted regime of Shah with Israel and said the Islamic Revolution reversed the trend.
Ahmad Mirzai aged 60 added that the late father of the revolution, Imam Khomeini always considered Israel as the largest threat for Islam in his pre-revolutionary campaigns. "The notion prompted the nation to pursue the Palestinian issue alongside their revolutionary demands," he said.
A scholar in Islamic studies, Seyyed Qasem Karimi said the Islamic Revolution of Iran gave an Islamic identity to the Palestinian issue and turned into the top agenda priority of the Muslim world.
"The Palestinian issue was once confined to sectarian demands however Imam Khomeini turned into a world priority," Karimi said, adding that the shift granted the Palestinian issue the backing of the Muslim population worldwide.
Also, the notion of defense to innocent people recurred in the remarks of another marcher, Ahmad Sariyar who serves as school principal.
Sariyar said the Iranian support to the Palestinian people is inspired by Islam, adding that all Iranian people pursue defense to the world innocent people, especially the Palestinian nation.
In the same regard, another scholar in Islamic studies, Meisam Ibrahimi said Islam principally urges defending innocent people, adding that the issue was among the key policies of the last messenger of Allah, Hadhrat Muhammad in his government.
A housewife, Seyyedeh Sara Mousavi approved the idea, adding that the Palestinian nation is so wronged that all free nations in the world must come to their help.
Mousavi also assured the Palestinian nation of solid Iranian support.
An engineer, Seyyed Hadi Mousavi said the Islamic Revolution gave a new life to the Muslim community, adding that the landmark revolution would eventually set free Palestine.
And, a government employee, Bahman Ahmadi said the Iranian people consider Israel as their key enemy and the US as its key backer.
Ahmadi said the US government would never reach a true peace with Iran due to the Israeli interests.
