Egyptian ruling in tandem with Israel

An Iranian expert in regional affairs says an Egyptian court’ ruling branding Hamas as a terrorist organization has come as part of security coordination between the Zionist regime and Abd al-Fattah Sisi government.

Hassan Hanizadeh was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran on the Egyptian Cairo Court for Urgent Matters’ verdict, labeling the Islamc Resistance Movement, Hamas a "terrorist organization".

The Iranian expert said the past regimes of Egypt never branded the movement as a terror body, adding that the move would flash the green light for repressing the Palestinian nation's struggle.

Hanizadeh noted that even many European countries have refrained from branding the national movement as a terror body.

"The move is only aimed at drawing Egypt closer to the Zionist regime and America," he said.

The expert said the public opinion in the Arab and Muslim world would not approve the Egyptian verdict and rather would consider it as a large service to the Zionist regime's goals.
