Deputy Tehran mayor urges help for Gaza

Deputy of Tehran Mayor Meisam Amroudi has urged the Iranian people not to forget the people of Gaza during their upcoming New Year holiday ceremonies.

The deputy mayor was speaking in Tehran on Wednesday on the Tehran Municipality's programs for the new Iranian year.

The senior authority said Palestinians are subject of worst oppression amid the ongoing tensions in the region among Muslims.

Amroudi said the Palestinian people, especially those in Gaza suffer lack of minimum welfare, adding that it is a duty not to forget them during the Nowrouz holidays.
