Naji blasts abuse of Palestinian rights

A prominent Iranian cinema actor says what takes place in the Palestinian territories today is an example of blatant injustice and violation of human rights.

Best actor in Berlin Film Festival in 2007, Reza Naji was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran.

"In a world where eras have turned deaf amid media propaganda, the Gaza women and children are deprived of their least human rights," the cinema actor said, adding that the tyranny would not survive and the oppressed people will cherish peace some day.

The cinema actor also expressed readiness to act in a movie in support of the Palestinian people, adding that cinema may play a key role in depicting the Israeli oppression against the Palestinian people.
