Will Netanyahu face a turn of fortune?

Qods News Agency reports:

The Zionist regime will hold its rumpus elections on March 17 with latest polls showing the Zionist Party, led by Ishaq Herzog being ahead of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by minimum four parliamentary seats.

Statistics also show that living costs especially in the housing section have grown by at least 50 percent.

The Zionist Party has taken the lead from Netanyahu through pursuing a platform of “welfare” against Netanyahu’s platform of “security,” drumming the notion that Netanyahu has pursued security and military policies at the expense of welfare.

Netanyahu actually pushed for snap elections in the hope of creating a robust cabinet that could better pursue its hardline rightist policies concerning the Iranian nuclear talks, the formation of independent Palestinian state and the growth of aboriginal Palestinians inside ‘Israel’ (1948-occupied Palestine).

The polls however never means that Netanyahu’s rightist Likud party may disappear from the Israeli politics in case of failure in the elections rather the party would pursue its policies through other sources of power, including the parliament.

The elections then would not be an end to internal tensions rather a beginning and even a prelude to more tensions.
