Palestinian resistance holds upper hand

A senior pro-Palestinian activist in Iran says the Palestinian resistance combatants hold the upper hand over the Zionists due to their perseverance in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza in the 2014 summer.

Deputy head of policy making council in Tehran Municipality, Sayyed Abdollah Hosseini was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran.

The pro-Palestinian activist also supported the Islamic Republic's idea of giving arms to the Palestinians in the West Bank so that they could defend themselves against Israel.

Hosseini said the offer further highlighted the Islamic Republic's supportive role in the Palestinian issue.

The authority said the rockets sent by Iran to Gaza helped the Palestinian resistance to keep the Zionist army at bay.

Hosseini then touched on the Syrian developments and said Syria continues to serve as a connection between the Islamic Republic and the Palestinian resistance despite its ongoing crisis.
