Gaza resistance, turning point in outgoing Iranian year
A senior Iranian pro-Palestinian activist says the Gaza resistance was a turning point in the outgoing Iranian year that ends on March 21.
Secretary Genereal of the Committee in Support of the Palestinian Nation’s Intifada, Hossein Sheikh-ol-Islam was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran.
The expert in regional affairs said the Gaza resistance was a turning point because it could keep the Zionist regime’s military at bay for more than 50 days in the last summer while Gaza has remained under siege for the past seven years.
Touching on the PA talks with Israel, Sheikh-ol-Islam said the talks was declared officially dead after Benjamin Netanyahu won the election on a platform of not allowing the formation of a Palestinian state.
The expert said the PA actually faced the ongoing economic woes after it turned its back to the Palestinian resistance.
