Gaza resistance changed many equations

A senior Iranian expert in regional affairs says the outgoing Iranian year that ends on March 21 featured the victory of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza to keep the invading Zionist forces at bay for more than 50 days.

Sayyed Hadi Sayyed Afqahi was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran.

“The war changed many political equations in favor of the Palestinian nation,” he added.

The expert said Benjamin Netanyahu decided to attack Gaza with the false presumption that the Gaza resistance suffers a weak position following the ouster of Mohammad Mursi in Egypt and the declaration of Hamas as a terror group.

Sayyed Afqahi said the military push failed due to military precautions adopted by the Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza

The expert also pointed to resistance tunnels as another strong point on the part of the Gaza resistance in the face of the invading Zionist forces.
