New Intifada likely in WB, Qods

A senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement is approved of the idea that Israel is interested in the Saudi attack on Yemen, saying the Saudi attack would no doubt deal an indirect blow to the regional resistance movement.

Khaled Jaradat was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran.

The Palestinian figure argued that the Saudi attack would complicate the process of anti-US struggle in the region, adding the Zionist regime would leave no stone unturned in its push for blocking the advance of the regional resistance.

Asked about the chances of emergence of a new Intifada in the occupied West Bank and occupied al-Qods (‘Jerusalem’) amid the growing conflict in the areas and mounting Israeli arrest campaign, the personality was positive.

Jaradat said the occupying regime has escalated the arrest campaign in fear of the breakout of a new Palestinian uprising, adding however the Palestinian nation would respond by furthering the process of resistance.

As for the formation of Takfiri groups, including the ISIL terror group in the region, the Palestinian personality said the Zionist regime has played a key role in their formation.

“Zionist regime would seek to destroy the achievements of the Muslim nations by helping form such groups,” Jaradat said.
